Test Motor Suction

First, verify the motor is creating suction. The machine must be spraying water for pickup to work – if it's not spraying at all, that's a different issue.

Plug in the machine and remove the dirty water tank.
  1. Plug in the machine and remove the dirty water tank.
  2. Turn on the machine.
  3. Feel for strong suction coming from the red grill opening where the tank connects.
