Our store is a hub for sewing enthusiasts of all skill levels, offering diverse classes and events designed to ignite your passion for stitching. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, our expert instructors are here to guide you through a world of fabric, thread, and endless possibilities!
We offer a wide variety of Classes & Events. From beginning sewing basics, all the way to advanced machine embroidery or quilting, there is a class for everyone! No matter the machine, no matter the expertise, there is a class and a seat for you!
Several sewing groups hold meet ups and gatherings in our stores event space. These are amazing opportunities to work with people who share your passions and grow your craft together!
Individual One-on-One Lessons are for beginning/returning sewists who need a refresher, or for someone who needs to learn the basics of a new sewing machine they’ve recently acquired. If you are proficient at using your machine but want to improve on your craft and expand your skills check out our group classes and events!
These lessons are provided free of charge with any sewing machine purchased from us. We also include one free learn to sew lesson with a sewing machine full service.

Individual Learn to Sew Training
In our sewing lessons, we focus on the basics of machine operation: threading, bobbin winding, and mastering straight and zig-zag stitches.
Our team is well-versed in various machine brands like Bernina, Baby Lock, Brother, Viking, Janome, Necchi, Juki, and more. It’s all about hands-on learning, so remember to bring your sewing machine to the appointment for the best experience!
Schedule an Individual Session
We offer two types of individual sewing lessons: free 30-minute User Lessons, and paid one-hour customizable sessions.
The 30 minute User Lesson comes free of charge with any sewing machine purchased or serviced by us.
For other machines or for more advanced, individualized sewing lessons, lessons are $40 per 1 hour lesson.
Please bring your sewing machine with you. Please also feel free to bring any accessories or presser feet that you would like to go over. Extra scrap fabric and thread will be provided, so no need to worry about that!

Sewing Events Classes and Meetups
Our “Learn to Sew” classes, led by trained staff, teach sewing basics through creative projects. You’ll master crucial techniques like seams, fabric piecing, zippers, and pattern following. We cover the other aspects of sewing as well such as setting up/starting projects, organization, and how to utilize different accessories to make your sewing a breeze! These classes are done on your own sewing machine (if you have one) to get you comfortable on it and to grow confidence to do your very own projects at home!
Meet Ups are held by local sewing clubs and groups. Many are open to guests. These are a great time to connect with local communities of sewists who share your passions.
Open Sew are times the sewing area is open to you to drop in and work on your projects. This is also a perfect time to come in and get tips and tricks on your sewing projects from our staff. Equipment such as cutting tables and ironing boards are available for your use!
Events are sponsored or facilitated by Vacuums R Us & Sewing Too and our partners such as Kimberbell and Janome. This is a fun opportunity to learn specific techniques.
