On behalf of our team at Vacuums R Us & Sewing Too, Happy Thanksgiving!

I would like to take a moment to speak to you about this holiday season, and what it means to our team.

I want to start off by sharing what I am grateful for. First, I am thankful for our team. They have supported each other through the most challenging period of change and growth our company has ever experienced. Throughout this year, I have watched as they have faced unimaginable challenges and handled them all with resiliency, creativity, and grace. They have continued to find innovative solutions to unpredictable problems while demonstrating an unwavering dedication to serving their customers. Working alongside them through this craziness has been an experience I never could have prepared myself for, but one I will never forget, and will remain thankful for the rest of my life.

I am thankful for the loyalty and support of our customers. Your unsolicited outpouring of support, appreciation and goodwill has been priceless. Your simple “thank you for helping” can turn our day around. You literally have no idea. I know I speak for our entire team when I say that we will respond to your support by continuing to provide you the absolute best service and products in our industries.

This brings me to a specific challenge we are facing today and the solutions we have come up with to address it.

For decades the holiday ‘sales season’ has been predictable. The entire process is meticulously planned out months in advance by retailers and our suppliers. However, this year nothing is predictable. Many products we ordered months ago in preparation for this holiday sales season have still not arrived. Other products are experiencing dramatic price increases making sales or discounts impossible.

We want to offer real values and great deals to our customers again this year. We love this time of year because it’s super busy which is exciting, but also because we get to give back to our customers by offering great deals. With a little creativity we have come up with a plan that will allow us to do this again this year even within the challenges of the unpredictable supply chains.

1. We are extending our holiday sales season all the way to the end of January to allow time for backordered shipments to come in. We will announce our sales as these products arrive so watch your emails and texts!
2. Our deepest discounts and biggest sales will be announced to current customers only. We want to offer these discounts to the people who have already supported us first! Many sales will not be advertised on our website or in store and will only come directly to you via text or email
3. Our holiday price protection will extend to February 28th. If you purchase a product and it goes on sale later, we will retroactively honor that sale. This allows you the freedom to purchase products today with the assurance if it goes on sale later you won’t miss out.
4. We are CLOSED Black Friday! We want to allow our team time to be with their families and recharge their batteries in preparation for this extended sales season. Oh, there’s going to be door busters at Vacuums R Us & Sewing Too! You better believe it! They just won’t be the day after Thanksgiving!
