Meet Possy from Rezdawg!
Meet Polly! She is one of Rezdawg rescues many pups. Found in New Mexico before being transported into Colorado, Possy has suffered some serious hard times.
Following a visit to the veterinarian, we received difficult news. Possy’s right hip is essentially shattered and she will need not one but two Femoral Head Osteotomies (FHOs). She also has a badly broken femur. The vet said without surgery, Possy would probably be unable to walk by the time she is 2 years old.
You would never know how much pain Possy is in. She’s a total sweetheart and is even playing with the dogs in her foster home. It’s heartbreaking knowing that she was likely hit by a car and suffering in pain while being beaten up by wild dogs.
