Marlene Swift is avid about all things textiles; sewing, knitting, quilting and fun fashion. For the past 30 years Marlene has developed her own patterns and sewn skirts, dresses, blouses, blazers, coats and underwear. She can also make household items such as curtains, slipcovers and custom pillows. She was chosen and exhibited two years in the Fort Collins Fashion Art Wear Show and was co-op member at the artist run Trimble Court in Fort Collins, selling original sewn and knit products. She has worked at fabric boutiques and taught sewing at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. She has a Master of Science in Textile Science and Design from Colorado State University. Marlene is also a passionate rock/ice climber, mountaineer, canyoneer…and has spent way too many hours on a bike.
