Simplicity is a vacuum brand owned by Tacony Corporation and built in Tacony's St. James, Missouri factory alongside its sister brand Riccar. Originally a separate vacuum line, Simplicity was acquired by Tacony in 1985 and developed into one of the leading dealer-distributed brands in the United States, sold exclusively through independent vacuum specialty stores.

The Simplicity catalog spans the lightweight Freedom and SuperLite uprights, the Synergy and Allergy upright families, the Wonder and Jill canister lines, and the broom-style stick vacs. Because Simplicity shares engineering and parts with Tacony's Riccar line, replacement bags, belts, brush rolls, filters, and motors are interchangeable across many models — and the dealer-service model means decades-old Simplicity uprights remain straightforward to keep running.
