Wyze Labs is a Seattle, Washington startup founded in July 2017 by four former Amazon employees with a stated mission of making smart-home technology genuinely affordable. The company launched the WyzeCam in October 2017 at a then-disruptive $20 price point and reached one million units sold within twelve months.
Wyze entered floor care in 2020 with the Wyze Robot Vacuum, a LIDAR-mapping autonomous vacuum priced well below comparable competitors, and has since added a cordless stick vacuum to the lineup. The vacuum line is supported by replacement HEPA filters, brush rolls, side brushes, and batteries available directly from Wyze and through the broader smart-home accessory aftermarket.
