Carpet Pro is a value-positioned commercial vacuum brand within Tacony Corporation's floor care division, built alongside Tacony's CleanMax, Riccar, and Simplicity lines. The brand was absorbed by Tacony in the early 1990s and re-launched in 2003 as a true commercial-grade upright at an affordable price point.
The Carpet Pro CPU and CP series uprights share Tacony's commercial-grade construction — metal baseplates, three-wire commercial cords, durable belts and brush rolls — and are popular with maid services and small cleaning contractors who need a lightweight, quiet, repairable machine. Replacement bags, brush rolls, belts, and filters for the Carpet Pro line are interchangeable with several Tacony platform-mate models, and the dealer-service network keeps consumables widely available.
