Zakka Workshop Class – Studio Carryall Tote
This structured bag is designed for makers on the move! Featuring a wide 11″ (27 cm) tube frame, this bag stays open while you work and stands up beautifully when made with fusible foam. Inside and out, roomy pockets keep your tools, notions, and personal items organized and within easy reach. Big enough for your current WIP, yet compact enough to grab and go, it’s the carryall you’ll reach for again and again.
Finished Size: 9″ wide at top / 14″ wide at bottom x 10 ½” tall x 6 ½” deep. The fee includes the class AND the pattern kit (pattern and hardware)! Limited quantities of extra hardware will be available to purchase in class.
Each month we will have a different class using the patterns and kits from Zakka Workshop! It will be the third Sunday afternoon each month.
Items needed:
- Sewing Machine (don’t forget your power cord and foot pedal!)
- General-purpose foot
- Main Fabric – 2/3 yard
- Accent/Lining Fabric – 1 yard
- Inside Pocket Fabric – 1/2 yard
- Interfacing – 28″ x 45″ of fusible fleece or fusible foam (make sure only ONE side is fusible) – such as Pellon 987F fusible fleece or Pellon FF78F1 fusible foam
- Sewing tools (scissors, clips or pins, stiletto or purple thang, seam ripper)
