Have you been curious about quilting on an embroidery machine? This machine embroidery class will teach you the basics! With this pattern from SweetPea Embroidery Designs, we will practice the stitch-and-flip method of adding fabrics to our potholder, talk about the different types of batting and interfacing, and adding binding to finish the raw edges.<\/p>\n

This class includes using an embroidery hoop, as well as finishing the project on a standard sewing machine.<\/p>\n

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SCRAPS TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR POTHOLDER<\/strong>. Scraps must be 2.5″ wide and between 2.5″ and 8″ long. We will provide batting, backing fabric, and binding for class.\u00a0If you would like us to provide ALL fabric for you, please choose the “Please Provide All Supplies” option when purchasing your ticket.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you are new to machine embroidery, this class is still for you! We will have extra instructors to help make sure that everyone is comfortable, and everyone’s questions are answered.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you do not have an embroidery machine, do not fear! We have a few machines that we can reserve for those who need them during class.
