DESCRIPTION:This event takes place in Boulder and is an open sew event. This meeting is being held in a private room after regular store hours. The event is led by ASG (American Sewing Guild) leaders and is open to guests free of charge. If attendees find this group useful after a few visits\, we do request that you consider joining ASG as a yearly member to receive all the benefits of the group. \nIn our opinion\, this is one of the best ways for new or experienced sewists to meet people who share their passion and expand their craft. ASG members come from all skill levels and concentrate on a myriad of sewing types. From garments\, to bags\, to quilts\, to embroidery\, you are likely to find someone who shares your interests here! \nGuests will be provided a work area and power to set up their machine. An ironing board\, iron\, and cutting table will be provided. Attendees can also use any of our floor model or demo machines to work on their projects. Sergers are available for use on request. If you are just starting with sewing and do not yet own your own machine\, we will help you get started using one of our beginner display models! \nAnd here’s something AMAZING! This is a hybrid event! You can join the event live via Zoom\, just like you are in the event room! \nAbout the American Sewing Guild: \nThe American Sewing Guild is a national non-profit organization dedicated to people who believe that sewing is a rewarding and creative activity\, and we advance sewing as an art and life skill. The event is led by ASG (American Sewing Guild) leaders and is open to guests free of charge. If attendees find this group useful after a few visits\, we do request that you consider joining ASG as a yearly member to receive all the benefits of the group. \nIn our opinion\, this is one of the best ways for new or experienced sewists to meet people who share their passion and expand their craft. ASG members come from all skill levels and concentrate on a myriad of sewing types. From garments\, to bags\, to quilts\, to embroidery\, you are likely to find someone who shares your interests here! \nGuests will be provided a work area and power to set up their machine. An ironing board\, iron\, and cutting table will be provided. Attendees can also use any of our floor model or demo machines to work on their projects. Sergers are available for use on request. If you are just starting with sewing and do not yet own your own machine\, we will help you get started using one of our beginner display models! \nAnd here’s something AMAZING! This is a hybrid event! Pick  your fabric at the beginning of class to begin making a one-of-a-kind piece of clothing\, or bring your own lightweight cotton to use up some of your stash! \nThe pattern you will receive (to keep!) will be for pajama pants but in class\, we will discuss how to convert the pattern to shorts as well! \nIf you do not have a sewing machine\, you can still take this class! When purchasing your ticket\, choose ‘I Need to Borrow a Machine’\, and we will have a sewing machine set up and ready for you to use during class. Email events@vacuumsrus.com with any questions!

SUMMARY:American Sewing Guild Boulder chapter- Secret Sewciety Meet Up- Guests Welcome!
DESCRIPTION:This event takes place in Boulder and is an open sew event. This meeting is being held in a private room after regular store hours. The event is led by ASG (American Sewing Guild) leaders and is open to guests free of charge. If attendees find this group useful after a few visits\, we do request that you consider joining ASG as a yearly member to receive all the benefits of the group. \nIn our opinion\, this is one of the best ways for new or experienced sewists to meet people who share their passion and expand their craft. ASG members come from all skill levels and concentrate on a myriad of sewing types. From garments\, to bags\, to quilts\, to embroidery\, you are likely to find someone who shares your interests here! \nGuests will be provided a work area and power to set up their machine. An ironing board\, iron\, and cutting table will be provided. Attendees can also use any of our floor model or demo machines to work on their projects. Sergers are available for use on request. If you are just starting with sewing and do not yet own your own machine\, we will help you get started using one of our beginner display models! \nAnd here’s something AMAZING! This is a hybrid event!
