The event is led by ASG (American Sewing Guild) leaders and is open to guests free of charge. If attendees find this group useful after a few visits\, we do request that you consider joining ASG as a yearly member to receive all the benefits of the group. \nIn our opinion\, this is one of the best ways for new or experienced sewists to meet people who share their passion and expand their craft. ASG members come from all skill levels and concentrate on a myriad of sewing types. From garments\, to bags\, to quilts\, to embroidery\, you are likely to find someone who shares your interests here! \nGuests will be provided a work area and power to set up their machine. An ironing board\, iron\, and cutting table will be provided. Attendees can also use any of our floor model or demo machines to work on their projects. Sergers are available for use on request. DESCRIPTION:Do you want to make a cute quilt design that requires NO pins\, has PERFECTLY nested corners and is LOTS of fun?  This technique uses a grid that you place your fabric on – then press\, fold and sew!  You don’t even have to be able to cut squares perfectly!  \n  \nCome join us for our monthly Quilting Class to make a whole quilt with this simple technique! Whether you are a seasoned sewist or just entering the world of quilting\, our welcoming sewing community is dedicated to unraveling the art of quilting together! \n  \nIn this monthly class\, we will work on one panel per session\, and at the end of the year\, we will have a finished quilt top that will be big enough for a double or queen sized bed! An instruction book with the pattern and grid stabilizer will be provided in the Class Supply Kit (linked below). Fabric selection is up to you to customize your very own quilt! \n  \nFeel free to pick and choose which classes you come to; you can come to all of them\, or join the classes when you need a little extra assistance.
